Up Innovations Gallery Einstein's Dream

In terms of business potential, the innovative product lines are:

1.      Software

a.       ‘3D TimeData’ is a first prototype for treating numerical data and time series according to ‘3D Mathematics’. In particular, it illustrates new methods of interpolation

  • Benefits consist in ‘seeing more’ by embedding a single data curve into a ‘data landscape'

  • Applications can be derived from any data base, whether relating to finance and economics or science and climate change, to medicine, environment, chemistry, etc.

'Visual Interpolation' -

a new method
for showing 'depth' and 'colour'

b.      ‘Visual Data Intelligence’ is a second prototype for visualizing any numerical data over any time interval. In particular, it illustrates new methods of extrapolation or forecasting, ‘backcasting’ and layering multi-dimensional data.

  • Benefits consist in ‘seeing into the future’, correlating data that otherwise is independent of each other and making such data visually and numerically comparable

  • Applications have been financial data so far, with exceptional accuracy both numerically (80%) and correctness of trend direction (85%) - over five different trend intervals [intraday, daily, weekly, 2-weekly, 4-weekly]

  • Image data and protein data such as haemoglobin are shown in the gallery

c.       www.3dmetrics.net is a web service for demonstration purposes that shows forecasting over different time intervals, applied to financial data.

2.      Hardware

a.       Novel mathematical methods for representing data in electronic devices are described in patent format

                                             i.      Benefits consist in expanding current methods by integrating analogue with digital information in a systematic way

ii.      Applications means storing sound, image, text and numerical data in physically different ways

b.      Another patent describes a non-binary computer system with ‘3D output device’ and pixels addressable in 3D

                                             i.      Benefits consist in simulating processes in 3D

ii.      Applications can be in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, etc.

3.      Measuring Devices

a.       New mathematical measuring methods have not only led to providing ‘ideal light-based values’ through software but also to quantifying new parameters as ‘3D Measures’. This ‘3D Metrology’ is the theoretical framework for measuring

                                             i.      Bonding Abilities of Chemical Substances

§         Benefits consist in quantifying new qualities in addition to current measures such as stickiness, fluidity, viscosity, gaseousness, radioactivity

§         Applications consist across the use of all chemical substances

ii.      Electro-Magnetic Qualities of Conductive Materials

§         Benefits consist in quantifying new qualities in addition to current electric and magnetic measures such as electric charge, resistance, conductance, capacitance

§         Applications consist in the full spectrum of energies from subtle invisible magnetism to strong visible charges of lightning

b.      Quantum Dot and Quantum Lattice as a new geometric model for atoms and molecules

                                             i.      Benefits are the scalability down to nuclear and photonic levels and upwards to molecular and cellular sizes

ii.      Applications are the systematisation of the characteristics and properties of materials and substances at nano-scales.
